About This Role

Role Description

* Implement IEP for each student in collaboration with the Inclusion Teacher;

* Implement classroom curriculum;

* Accompany students to mainstream (inclusion) classrooms within the school setting if applicable;

* Liaise with school personnel (e.g. teachers within mainstream classrooms) regarding inclusion program component for each student, if applicable;

* Report to and collaborate with the Inclusion Program Teacher for all areas of concern and needs;

* Ensure daily journal of progress and performance for each student is sent to the student’s home for parents to review;

* Ensure feedback from the Inclusion Program Teacher is carried out immediately after such collaboration has taken place to discuss areas requiring implementation and/or change;

* Curriculum development (including communicating materials needed for classrooms) to Inclusion Program Teacher;

* Complete surveys/evaluations throughout the year for the Inclusion Program Teacher;

* Attend and participate in all in-service trainings;

* Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe classroom/school environment;

* Attend monthly mandatory staff meetings;

* Check and respond to company emails daily during work week;

* Assist with special projects, as needed

• Timings: 7:30am- 4:30pm; Mon-Fri

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in special education, psychology, child development, or social work

• Board certified as ABAT or RBT.

• Previous work experience: at least 2-3 years working with students with special educational needs

• Visa: self-sponsored candidates preferred
