Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics , we are looking for a full-time, permanent 7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Cormar Carpets team in Sherburn, LS25 6JH.

You’ll be working on a full time, permanent basis 50 hours per week Monday to Friday starting at 06:00. You will be responsible for delivering products to warehouses and stores.

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and company procedures

Deliver products to high street stores and warehouses, ensuring accurate handling, secure transportation, and timely delivery

This is a physically demanding role, duties including lifting, loading, unloading, and handballing stock

Provide excellent customer service while collecting and accurately recording product returns

Complete vehicle safety checks, maintained tachograph records, reported defects, and always ensure vehicle and stock security

A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement

A valid Driver Qualification Card

A valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 current penalty points

No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
