Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance/legal profession dealing specifically with Casualty claims.
- Experience handling auto bodily injury, and accident benefits claims preferred. Carrier experience a plus.
- In-depth understanding of policy language/coverage.
- Experience managing, evaluation, mediating and negotiating casualty claims. In-depth knowledge of the Canadian legal system, civil litigation, and mediation proceedings.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of federal and provincial laws applicable to various claims presented under casaulty policies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High degree of proficiency with Excel
