About the Role

Lead a team of Supervisors ,Technicians and outsourced vendors in the operation and maintenance of the Civil infrastructure to achieve system availability and Asset performance in line with stipulated KPI’s, Prepare Scope of works for Civil infrastructure projects, review and provide technical inputs to design and material submittals, perform Asset condition survey and Quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with international standards and best industry practices. Take charge of all improvement and project works related to Civil infrastructure to ensure seamless integration to existing network.

• Plan, organize and provide system engineering support and supervision for the operation, maintenance, modification, trouble-shooting and repair of Civil Systems.
• Manage, monitor and improve FM contractors’ maintenance delivery while ensuring compliance with best industry practices, local and international standards.
• Perform toolbox talks/briefing in order to guide and support staff and contractors in their day-to-day activities in compliance with Airport regulations.
• Perform quality assurance audits for all Civil assets, in order to ensure proper maintenance is performed and implement any improvements that might be needed.
• Review and validate the newly developed design and construction documents in order to confirm code compliance and existing infrastructure readiness.
• Support the Lead Civil Technical Officer/Civil Engineer/Facility Manager in the preparation of Budgets, special reports, presentation, approval processes, technical specification, facilities management contract documents, tender documents, operation and maintenance manuals, maintenance SOPs in alignment with Asset Management System.
• Support the Lead Civil Technical Officer/Civil Engineer in Studying and analyzing Civil assets for the purpose of implementing control measures and improvement projects that shall lead to the reduction of the asset failure risks, the reduction of the asset life cycle costs while maintaining desired level of services and the proper planning of capital assets replacement.
• Ensure Permit to Work procedures are strictly adhered to by vendors and FM contractor staff.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Lead Civil Technical Officer/Civil Engineer/Facility Manager.

About Yo

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of Job related experience.
• High School/ Vocational / Diploma with minimum of 4 years of Job related experience.
• Proficiency in Auto Cad
• 5 years Airport Maintenance Experience
