Role overview
Linea Projects is seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Draftsman with UAE construction and contracting experience.
The role prepares, modifies, and maintains technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Drawing preparation and coordination
- Prepare detailed construction and technical drawings based on project requirements.
- Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, sections, and details as required.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate with relevant teams.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Drawing quality and project support
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, approved designs, and applicable standards.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant or client comments.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of project drawings.
- Assist site teams with technical drawings and clarification requirements.
- Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of drawings.
Experience and technical qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in UAE construction or contracting.
- Proven experience working as a draftsman within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other drafting or BIM software is an advantage.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and site requirements.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Additional qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- A relevant diploma or certification in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Salary
- Salary is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
