About This Role
Role Objective
Responsible for end-to-end civil & structural design for substation projects (11 kV to 765 kV), including pre-bid engineering, detailed engineering, multidisciplinary coordination, team leadership, and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality engineering deliverables for domestic and international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design leads, engineers & draftsmen; ensure high-quality outputs within timelines.
- Prepare and monitor engineering plans aligned with project requirements.
- Review designs and ensure optimization of civil & structural quantities and BOQ accuracy.
- Conduct risk analysis, resolve design issues, and support manufacturing clearance.
Technical Expertise Required
- Substation GIS buildings, transformer foundations, control rooms,
Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech Civil / M.Tech Structural / Geotechnical / Environmental Engineering.
- 8+ years in
- civil & structural design,
- with exposure to
- substations
Software Skills
- AutoCAD, Revit
- Tekla (preferred)
- MS Office
