HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a meticulous
Civil Inspector
to oversee civil construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
The Civil Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of civil works including foundations, structural elements, roadworks, and other infrastructure components
- Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and relevant codes
- Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or safety hazards
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site
- Support quality control processes and assist in testing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in civil construction inspection or quality control
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards in Saudi Arabia is an advantage
