Job Description
The Civil Inspector will monitor and inspect civil construction activities associated with marine or offshore-related interfaces, ensuring that works are completed in accordance with approved technical and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect marine or offshore-related civil works on site
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved construction procedures
- Witness inspections and testing as required
- Report quality observations, deviations, and non-conforming works
- Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and relevant site teams
- Maintain proper inspection records and reports
- Ensure activities are carried out in line with project HSE requirements
- ****Qualifications****
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant inspection experience
- Experience in thermal power plant, marine, coastal, or offshore civil works
- Good understanding of field inspection, QA/QC, and HSE requirements
Preferred Profile
- GCC project exposure
- Prior experience in marine intake, outfall, or offshore interface works is an advantage
