Overview
Job Title: Civil & Fit-Out Draftsman / Draughtsman
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for civil
- and interior fit-out works.
- Develop and revise:
- o General arrangement drawings
- o Detailed fit-out drawings
- o Ceiling layouts
- o Flooring layouts
- o Joinery details
- o Partition details
- o Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)
- o Sections and elevations
- o Furniture and fixture layouts
- Prepare civil drawings including:
- o Concrete details
- o Blockwork layouts
- o Structural coordination drawings
- o External works details
- Coordinate drawings with:
- o Architectural drawings
- o Structural drawings
- o MEP services
- o Site conditions and client requirements
- Prepare authority submission drawings as required by local regulations and
- consultants.
- Ensure all drawings comply with:
- o Project specifications
- o Company drafting standards
- o Local authority regulations
- o Health and safety requirements
- Review and update drawings based on consultant comments, site instructions, and
- project revisions.
- Conduct site measurements and site verification when required.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, suppliers, and
- subcontractors for technical clarifications.
- Prepare detailed as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and filing systems.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings according to project schedules and deadlines.
- Assist project teams during tendering, execution, and handover stages.
