Role overview and project location

Project delivery and site responsibilities

• Manage hangar delivery from foundations through steel fabrication and erection, roofing and cladding, MEP, testing and commissioning, and final handover.
• Coordinate steel fabrication, erection, alignment, bolting, welding, and structural interfaces.
• Coordinate foundations, anchor bolts, base plates, concrete works, roofing, cladding, insulation, drainage, and associated architectural works.
• Coordinate MEP systems within hangar and industrial facilities.
• Review structural and shop drawings, fabrication drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material submissions.
• Manage steel erection activities, lifting operations, quality control, subcontractors, and construction sequencing on site.
• Identify and resolve structural, fabrication, erection, and MEP coordination issues on site.

Mandatory qualifications and experience

• Extensive, proven hands-on experience in hangar construction and large-span steel structures is mandatory; candidates without substantial hangar-project experience will not be considered.
• Experience delivering hangar projects from foundations through final handover.
• Strong knowledge of large-span structural steel systems used in hangars.
• Experience in steel fabrication, erection, alignment, bolting, welding, and structural coordination.
• Experience with hangar foundations, anchor bolts, base plates, concrete works, and structural interfaces.
• Experience coordinating roofing, cladding, insulation, drainage, and associated architectural works.
• Good knowledge of MEP systems and coordination in hangar or industrial facilities.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, submittals, method statements, and material submissions.
• Strong site experience in steel erection, lifting operations, quality control, subcontractors, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to resolve structural, fabrication, erection, and MEP coordination issues on site.
• GCC construction experience is mandatory.
• Must be willing to work or relocate to Bahrain for the initial project.

Preferred project experience

• Successful completion of multiple hangar projects is sought; aircraft or aviation hangars, maintenance hangars, industrial hangars, or other complex large-span steel structures are preferred.
