Role overview
A contracting and construction establishment in Saudi Arabia is seeking a hands-on Site Engineer.
The role manages site operations, supervises labor teams, and builds relationships with main contractors to secure and manage subcontracting work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and supervise labor teams to ensure productivity, quality, and strict safety standards.
- Coordinate work progress on site and handle execution details from start through handover.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client engineers and main contractors to negotiate, acquire, and execute project items and packages.
- Resolve on-site technical and operational challenges promptly.
- Coordinate material supplies and equipment and prepare daily reports.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on site engineering and construction management experience in Saudi Arabia's contracting sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage, direct, and motivate the on-site workforce.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for dealing with main contractor engineers.
- Good English; Arabic is mandatory.
