Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background to join a leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves managing the full lifecycle of residential and infrastructure works, including buildings and external works such as roads, pathways, and water features.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead end-to-end project delivery from feasibility, design development, and authority approvals through construction, handover, and close-out
·Develop and manage project execution plans, master schedules, and cash flow forecasts
·Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with approved scope and quality standards
Civil & Infrastructure Scope
·Design and oversee infrastructure works, including roads, pathways, drainage systems, and water channels
·Supervise construction of buildings, fences, and other external structures
·Review and prepare technical drawings, layouts, and project plans
Construction & Contractor Management
·Manage main contractors and subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
·Ensure high-quality execution of works in line with specifications and standards
·Chair project meetings and drive timely resolution of design, technical, and site-related issues
Cost & Planning
·Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports
·Monitor cash flow and implement cost control measures
·Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or design intent
Site & Compliance
·Monitor construction progress, quality, and HSE performance on site
·Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
·Coordinate with relevant authorities for approvals and inspections
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
·Act as the primary point of contact between the developer, consultants, contractors, and authorities
·Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle
·Prepare and present regular progress reports covering schedule, cost, risks, and key milestones
·Support leasing, sales, and asset management teams during project execution and handover
Requirements
·Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
·7–10 years of experience in building construction and project management
·Proven experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle (design to handover)
·Strong technical knowledge of civil and infrastructure works
·Experience in contractor and site management
·Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and project planning
·Proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred
·Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
·Arabic language skills are required
