What You Will Do

• Lead civil project teams through completion on assigned projects involving earthworks, drainage, and mine and plant roads.
• Own quality assurance and quality control for design calculations and contract documents.
• Take discipline practice responsibility for assigned project scope.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Drive quality control through drawing and calculation checking and verification.

What You Bring

• Proven experience managing and leading Civil Engineering projects.
• A Civil Engineering degree from a recognized engineering program.
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in mining, energy, or infrastructure.
• Project management experience on mid- to large-scale projects.
• Hands-on expertise in grading, drainage, roads, sanitary sewers, hydrology, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency with civil design software and experience with large-scale earthworks and earth structures.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating junior civil engineers.
• Strong time management, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and self-motivation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer licensure in Ontario or eligibility for licensure is preferred.
• A PMP designation is a bonus.

Compensation

• The stated base salary range is $89,000 to $138,000.
• Total rewards may include performance-based incentives, benefits, and other employee programs.
