Role overview
Civil Engineer role in renewable energy, solar EPC, and clean energy infrastructure.
Reports to the Site Head; location stated as Kolkata.
Education and knowledge
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and building materials.
- Ability to interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ; survey and setting-out; concrete, foundation, piling/ramming, earthwork, and excavation works.
- Knowledge of road, drainage, and cable trench construction; project scheduling and progress monitoring; contractor management; and QA/QC documentation.
- Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works, as applicable.
- Basic-to-intermediate AutoCAD knowledge is listed.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, execute, and supervise civil construction projects.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for efficient project execution.
- Support optimal resource utilization and timely completion within the approved budget.
