Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Jiddah.
The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure and real estate development projects within THRAA | ثراء’s investment portfolio.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, performing site assessments, and contributing to feasibility studies and cost estimates.
The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
The Civil Engineer will also assist with stormwater management assessments, monitor construction progress, support problem-solving on site, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and experience working as a Civil Engineer on infrastructure or development projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including preparation and review of plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in Planning and coordinating project phases, including feasibility, design, and construction support.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage design, and related regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or licensure is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools).
- Ability to interpret codes, standards, and local regulations, and apply them to project designs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jiddah and conduct regular site visits and inspections as required.
