Role summary
Plans, executes, and supervises interior fit-out works on site, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to quality and safety standards.
Coordinates with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams from project start through final handover.
Planning, coordination, and site execution
- Study drawings, specifications, and BOQs; prepare work programmes, look-ahead schedules, and manpower and material plans.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams, raise RFIs, and follow up on clarifications and approvals.
- Supervise civil and fit-out works including blockwork, gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, tiling, joinery, painting, and finishing.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, submittals, and method statements; manage subcontractors, labour, site measurements, and set-out.
Quality, cost, and authority approvals
- Inspect work, raise inspection requests, verify delivered materials against approved samples, and close defects through snagging and de-snagging.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and measurements for progress billing; document variations, support claims, and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate authority submissions and inspections with relevant authorities and building management; obtain permits, NOCs, and completion certificates as needed.
Safety, reporting, and handover
- Ensure HSE compliance, conduct toolbox talks, and keep the site clean, safe, and organized.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports with site photos; attend client, consultant, and internal progress meetings.
- Maintain drawings, IRs, MIRs, RFIs, and handover documents, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on interior fit-out experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, construction methods, and architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project is listed.
- Familiarity with UAE authority approval procedures; leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and work under tight deadlines; a valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
Pay
- AED 2,015.90–6,000.00 per month.
