Role overview
Full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
Oversees design and coordination of structural and architectural elements for aluminum, glass, and steel works.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and check drawings; review shop drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and resolve technical issues with project stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule work activities and support quantity take-offs.
- Contribute to quality control and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams for accurate execution and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Civil engineering design skills, structural analysis, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Experience in building or façade-related projects; aluminum, glass, or steel structures are preferred experience areas.
- Planning skills in scheduling, resource allocation, and site activity coordination.
- Understanding of stormwater management, drainage design, and site grading.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, or similar engineering software and strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of UAE or GCC building regulations and construction practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical reporting, communication, and collaboration skills; attention to detail.
- Façade, cladding, or curtain wall project experience is an advantage.
Work location
- Work is in person in Abu Dhabi.
