Design and review civil and structural works for home renovation projects, including foundations, drainage, and utility connections.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering plans and calculations; coordinate with architects, site supervisors, and contractors.
- Ensure designs meet local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and resolve technical issues.
- Provide practical solutions to optimize cost, quality, and timelines.
- Support project management with planning, documentation, and client communication throughout renovations.
Qualifications
- Strong civil engineering design and principles relevant to residential and renovation projects; experience on construction or renovation sites.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and plan schedules and resources while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of stormwater management, drainage design, and related urban and residential infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or licensing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent, and strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality and compliance.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing client and project requirements.
