Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Civil Engineer leads the engineering function across estimation, drawing review, Dubai Municipality submissions, classification compliance, and site oversight.
Responsibilities
include preparing estimates and quantity takeoffs for tenders and proposals, validating structural drawings and DM submissions, managing classification application and ongoing compliance, supervising site execution and quality, and coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (attested)
- 3+ years of experience in UAE building contracting; 5+ years with supervisory experience preferred
- Society of Engineers UAE membership
• Dubai Muncipality Approved Engineer
- Track record of Dubai Municipality submissions and approvals
- Familiarity with Dubai Building Code, and standard structural design practice
- Estimation capability supported by closed-out projects
- Site oversight and quality control experience
