  • Conduct quality checks at various stages of production to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Identify and address any deviations from quality specifications.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues from recurring.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment and ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
  • Follow proper hygiene practices to ensure food safety and product integrity.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create new chocolate recipes and flavors.
  • Experiment with different ingredients and techniques to innovate and improve existing products.
  • Document recipe modifications and findings for future reference.
  • Coordinate with other team members such as production assistants, quality assurance personnel, and packaging staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers to address production issues and achieve production goals.

Requirements

  • Proven 2+ years experience as a Chocolate Maker or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of chocolate-making techniques, including tempering, molding, and enrobing.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to work with equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Formal training in culinary arts or food science is a plus.
