Responsibilities
- Independently prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, mainly home-style Chinese cuisine, including hot and cold dishes, soups, porridge, noodles, buns, and other staples.
- Plan daily menus and prepare ingredients for the number of diners; control portions and reduce waste.
- Follow Qatar food safety and hygiene regulations; clean the kitchen, sterilize utensils, and store food properly.
- Check stock and request materials; maintain kitchen equipment and report faults promptly.
- Follow the schedule to serve meals on time and coordinate with the logistics team.
Requirements
- Proven Chinese cook experience and ability to independently prepare daily meals.
- Valid Qatar food worker health certificate; good health is stated as a requirement.
- Hygiene-conscious, hardworking, and responsible, with food cost control ability.
- Basic English communication is preferred; Chinese speakers are welcome.
- Staff canteen experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 3,500–4,000 per month.
