Chief Technology Officer - Cyber Security

Role overview

Client advisory and executive engagement

• Advise enterprise clients on security transformation, resilience, and governance.
• Lead executive discussions, architecture reviews, and roadmap sessions focused on Zero Trust, cloud security, threat management, and data protection.
• Support sales and account teams in shaping large, complex cybersecurity engagements.
• Build long-term trusted relationships as a key contact for C-suite executives.

Thought leadership and business development

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client forums; develop and publish whitepapers, blogs, and webinars on emerging cybersecurity trends.
• Track evolving threats, technologies, and frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, RBI, CERT-In, and the DPDP Act, translating them into client strategies.
• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams on deal strategy and technical value; identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Contribute to go-to-market strategies and regional growth initiatives.

Ecosystem collaboration

• Engage OEMs, hyperscalers, and security technology partners, including Microsoft and SailPoint, to co-create client solutions.
• Collaborate with internal cyber practices and security engineering teams to ensure solution consistency and innovation.

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least five years in client-facing or advisory leadership roles.
• Proven experience engaging C-level executives, such as CISOs, CIOs, or CTOs, as a trusted advisor.
• Deep understanding of threat detection, SOC/MDR, cloud security, application security, IAM, Zero Trust, and data protection.
• Strong grasp of global and India-specific compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity services or consulting, such as MSSP/MDR, IAM, Cyber Advisory, or Big 4.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as BFSI, telecom, or healthcare.
• Advanced degree in information/cyber security or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA.
• Experience with AI-driven or cloud-native security operations.
