Role Description
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all technology functions at The Growth Cocktail.
This full-time remote role involves defining and executing the overall IT and product technology roadmap in alignment with the company’s business and service model.
The CTO will oversee software and product development cycles, guide system architecture and integration, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platforms supporting client-facing and internal operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with executive leadership, managing technology projects, leading engineering teams, setting coding and architectural standards, and evaluating third-party tools and vendors.
The CTO will also monitor technology performance, drive innovation, manage budgets, and implement best practices for data security, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Architecture, including experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in IT Strategy and Product Development, with a track record of aligning technology roadmaps with business goals and delivering user-centric products.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
- Demonstrated experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams and building high-performance, inclusive technology cultures.
- Proficiency with modern cloud platforms, APIs, integration frameworks, and data security and privacy best practices.
- Experience in startup or early-stage environments, preferably in consulting, HR tech, or business services, is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
