Role overview
The Chief Strategy Officer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some remote work.
The role leads long-term organizational strategy for climate, health equity, and gender-focused initiatives, aligned with organizational goals and impact targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analyses and shape business and program plans.
- Oversee financial sustainability models and advise the executive team on growth opportunities and risk management.
- Coordinate with global partners, donors, and stakeholders; support policy and advocacy priorities.
- Integrate data, technology, and innovation into climate-health programs.
- Mentor emerging leaders, set performance metrics, and support transparent, accountable governance.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Business planning and finance experience, including sustainable funding models, budgets, and impact-focused investment cases.
- Executive management and leadership capabilities for guiding cross-functional teams and supporting board-level decisions.
- Background in climate change, public health, or health equity; familiarity with African or Global South contexts.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building skills across diverse cultures and sectors.
- Ability to work virtually and in person in a hybrid environment based in Dubai.
- An advanced degree in business, public policy, public health, international development, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Experience with data-driven decisions, impact measurement, and digital tools for program management and reporting.
