Role overview
The Chief Operating Officer oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and align with organizational strategy.
This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine business plans and manage operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across functions; monitor financial and operational metrics.
- Implement policies and procedures, optimize resource allocation, and support budgeting and cost control.
- Mentor team members, encourage accountability and collaboration, and ensure compliance with regulations and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Strong business planning and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven operations management experience and a track record of improving efficiency and process quality.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data, evaluating performance, and informing decisions.
- Knowledge of finance and budgeting, including cost management and resource allocation.
- Leadership and people management abilities, including stakeholder engagement and team development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a similar senior operations or executive role; UAE or GCC market exposure is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
- Able to balance on-site responsibilities in Abu Dhabi with remote work.
