Overview
An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Chief Mate to join a specialist offshore production support vessel operating in UAE waters.
This is a senior leadership position onboard a vessel supporting offshore oil & gas operations and requires a candidate with strong offshore marine experience and the ability to operate within a demanding client environment.
• ADNOC Approved Chief Mate
- Chief Mate Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2)
- Previous offshore vessel experience
- Strong knowledge of marine operations, safety management systems and offshore regulations
- Experience working within the Middle East offshore sector
Responsibilities
- Support the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
- Lead all deck operations and marine activities onboard
- Manage deck crew performance and development
- Ensure compliance with company, flag state and client requirements
- Oversee cargo, ballast, stability and marine operational activities
- Act as Deputy to the Master and assume command when required
