Role Overview

The CISO will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with Qatari and international security standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to align security initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s information security strategy.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international security standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
• Lead audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Mentor and develop security teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Drive innovation in cybersecurity practices and digital resilience.
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Qatari regulations and international cybersecurity standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex security operations successfully.
• Expertise in risk management, cloud security, and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
