Role summary
Lead the organization's technology vision, strategy, and operations to enable business objectives, ensure secure and reliable IT services, and drive digital transformation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- **Strategy** **&*** Leadership:* Define and execute IT and digital strategy aligned with corporate goals; create multi-year technology roadmaps.
- **Governance** **&*** Policy:* Establish IT governance, policies, standards, KPIs, and compliance programs.
- **Security** **&*** RiskManagement:* Own information security, cybersecurity strategy, data protection, privacy controls, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
- **Infrastructure** **&*** Operations:* Oversee cloud/on-prem infrastructure, networking, endpoints, and IT service management to ensure availability and scalability.
- **Applications** **&*** Data:* Lead application portfolio management, integrations, API strategy, enterprise architecture, and data governance/analytics.
- **Digital** **Transformation** **&*** Innovation:* Drive modernization (cloud migration, automation, AI/ML adoption), process improvement, and customer/employee experience enhancements.
- **Vendor** **&*** FinancialManagement:* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, technology procurement, and IT budget; optimize total cost of ownership.
- **Talent** **&*** Organization:* Recruit, mentor, and develop IT leadership and teams; promote security awareness and continuous learning.
- **Cross-functional** **Collaboration:** Partner with business leaders (Finance, HR, Sales, Product) to prioritize technology investments and support M&A or strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP/Head/CIO/CTO) managing enterprise IT.
- Technical knowledge: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, SaaS ecosystems, APIs, and modern software delivery (DevOps, CI/CD).
- Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, or cloud provider certifications.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, vendor negotiation, budget management, stakeholder communication, and change leadership.

- Excellent communicator able to translate technical concepts for executives and the board.
- High ethical standards and commitment to security, privacy, and compliance.
- Performance metrics (examples)
- System availability and SLA adherence (e.g., 99.9% uptime).
- Mean time to detect/respond (MTTD/MTTR) and reduction in security incidents.
- Project delivery on time, scope, and budget.
- IT spend as a percentage of revenue and cost savings from optimization.
- Adoption and business impact of digital initiatives (revenue, productivity, customer satisfaction).
- Employee engagement and retention within IT.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED489.71 - AED1,050.25 per hour
