Role summary

Lead the organization’s information technology and digital strategy to enable business goals, ensure secure and reliable IT operations, and drive innovation that improves efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy &* Leadership:* Develop and execute the IT and digital strategy aligned with corporate objectives; translate business priorities into technology roadmaps.
• Governance &* Policy:* Establish IT governance, policies, standards, and KPIs; ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Security &* RiskManagement:* Oversee information security program, cybersecurity posture, data protection, privacy controls, and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
• Infrastructure &* Operations:* Ensure reliable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure (cloud/on-prem), networks, endpoints, and IT service management (ITSM).
• Application &* Data:* Lead development and management of core applications, integrations, APIs, and enterprise data strategy (data governance, analytics, BI).
• Innovation &* DigitalTransformation:* Drive modernization, automation, AI/ML adoption, and digital customer/employee experience initiatives.
• Vendor &* BudgetManagement:* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, procurement, and technology budgets; optimize TCO and negotiate enterprise agreements.
• Team Development: Hire, mentor, and develop IT leadership and staff; build a culture of accountability, security awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with business leaders to prioritize projects, deliver measurable outcomes, and support M&A or strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (VP/Head/CIO/CTO) overseeing enterprise IT and digital programs.
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, SaaS, APIs, data platforms, and modern software delivery (DevOps, CI/CD).
• Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage change, influence at the executive level, and communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, or cloud provider certifications.

• Security metrics: number of incidents, time to detect/respond, compliance audit results.
• Employee engagement and retention within IT.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED451.58 - AED1,002.90 per hour
