Overview
- Drayton are thrilled to be partnering with a high growth, international ecommerce business in the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer.
- This role will be critical in shaping financial strategy, building scalable financial operations, and supporting the business through its exciting next phase of growth across multiple markets.
- In this role, responsibilities will include:
- Leading the overall financial strategy, planning and management of the business across brands and regions
- Partnering closely with the CEO, COO and senior leadership team to support growth, expansion and investment decisions
- Owning budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning processes
- Delivering timely management reporting, financial analysis and commercial insight
- Overseeing accounting, financial reporting, audits, tax and statutory compliance across international operations
- Managing cashflow, treasury, banking relationships and funding arrangements
- Supporting ecommerce, operations and commercial teams with financial analysis across pricing, sourcing and inventory
- Building and leading a high performing finance team across multiple geographies
Requirements
- for this role include:
- Fully qualified accountant status such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within direct to consumer ecommerce businesses.
- Proven experience operating in high growth or entrepreneurial environments
- Strong technical finance capability across accounting, reporting and financial planning
- A commercially astute individual with a hands on and pragmatic approach
- The ideal profile will:
- Be a commercially driven finance leader who enjoys operating at both strategic and hands on levels
- Be comfortable building structure and scalable processes in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Thrive in dynamic, evolving businesses with pace and ambition
