As we expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Credit Officer (CCO) to join our leadership team and oversee credit risk management, compliance, and strategic growth.
Role Overview
The CCO will be responsible for developing and implementing credit policies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with Qatari financial regulations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to align credit strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee credit risk management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate credit portfolios to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align credit strategies with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari financial regulations and international credit standards.
- Lead and mentor credit teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Drive innovation in credit services and customer-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Qatari financial regulations and international credit standards.
- Proven track record of managing complex credit portfolios successfully.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
