Chief Accountant

Overview

• Provide comprehensive financial support to business units and stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective solutions
• Manage cash flow activities including funding, vendor payments, client billing, collections, and inventory control
• Maintain the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation processes
• Prepare management reports, support budgeting, and deliver financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with accounting firms, auditors, tax consultants, and local banks
• Support internal controls, risk management procedures, and compliance frameworks
• Monitor inventory counts and asset records in coordination with operations and procurement teams
• Manage financial instruments such as guarantees, letters of credit, and payment terms
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations including Corporate Tax and VAT filings
• Oversee payroll processes ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with regulations
• Implement and optimize accounting systems and e-invoicing processes
• Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Prepare and present financial statements including Balance Sheet and P&L in accordance with IFRS and local regulations
