Chemist position in a manufacturing industry setting, not the medical field.
The role requires work during shift times.
Responsibilities
- Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents; advise on and coordinate test procedures.
- Analyze chemical and physical properties, compositions, structures, relationships, and reactions of organic and inorganic compounds.
- Use chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry.
- Develop and improve products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
- Work with scientists and engineers to analyze, interpret, and develop tests.
- Use heat, light, energy, and chemical catalysts to induce reactions.
- Write technical papers and reports; prepare standards and specifications.
- Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot malfunctions, and purchase laboratory supplies.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
Requirements and preferences
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two years of industrial chemist experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work shift times in a manufacturing setting.
Pay
- AED 2,400 to AED 2,650 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
