Chemical Process Engineer supporting projects for advanced manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor facilities.
The role is described as hybrid, with work split between Jacobs offices or projects and remote locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Apply engineering practices and industry knowledge to solve complex problems.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, project management, and clients to deliver integrated projects.
- Support field construction by reviewing submittals, responding to client and contractor questions, and performing field walks.
- Review designs completed by others for quality.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on engineering applications and principles.
- Help develop proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least two years of chemical process engineering experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience designing semiconductor facilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently on core tasks, seek specialized expertise, and collaborate across multidisciplinary and regional teams.
