Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Chef** to join our restaurant kitchen team.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and delivering excellent food presentation and taste.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to restaurant menu standards
- Ensure high quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Manage food storage and ensure proper inventory control
- Follow food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and new dish development
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef / Cook in a restaurant or hotel
- Knowledge of multi-cuisine or specific cuisine (mention if needed)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or hotel management certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1–3 years (Commis/Cook) or more for senior roles
