Chef de Partie

, you’re not just overseeing the preparation of high-quality pastries – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

Create exceptional pastry and dessert offerings:

Prepare, bake, decorate, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionery items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in quality and appearance.

Supervise and support the pastry team:

Guide and assist junior pastry chefs and commis chefs, providing training and support while helping to maintain efficient workflow in the pastry section.

Maintain a clean and organised pastry kitchen:

Ensure all workstations, equipment, and storage areas are clean, tidy, and maintained to the highest hygiene standards, preventing cross-contamination.

Ensure product quality and stock control:

Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients, ensure correct storage procedures, manage stock rotation, and report shortages or wastage promptly.

Assist with cost control and production planning:

Help minimise waste, manage portion control, and contribute to achieving food cost targets while maintaining product quality and consistency.

Uphold food safety and compliance standards:

Adhere to all food safety, health and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a safe working environment for both team members and guests.
