Job Description

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistency, and presentation.

The role includes supervising junior staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards
  • Manage and oversee an assigned section of the kitchen
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assist with stock control and minimize wastage
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef as required

Preferred Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, pastry, hot kitchen)
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
