Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team.
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functioning and efficiency.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' environments are comfortable and conducive, not just for immediate needs but also with long-term reliability in mind.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience with various HVAC systems and equipment, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and uphold a commitment to providing outstanding service and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems professionally.
- Perform routine inspections and oversee preventive maintenance tasks promptly and accurately.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across a wide range of HVAC systems efficiently.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and adjust system performance and settings to enhance functionality.
- Document all service and installation activities and report complexities to management.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on ongoing maintenance and energy efficiency best practices for their units.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls to resolve customer issues.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques to provide optimal service.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve more complex project goals effectively.
- Manage inventory levels for parts and supplies necessary for efficient operation.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ direct experience as an HVAC Technician is required.
- Relevant HVAC certification or technical education in HVAC systems and operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical and refrigeration components and workings.
- Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment with precision and care.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for service call travel.
