Overview
On behalf of our client, a leading provider of offshore support vessels, we are seeking a motivated
Chartering Assistant
to support West Africa operations.
Reporting to the
Commercial Manager – Africa, you will provide day-to-day commercial support in contract administration, tender coordination, and data management, with clear growth into customer-facing chartering and spot vessel handling.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the Contract Management System (recording & tracking charters with full documentation)
- Assist with tender preparation and submission, coordinating with internal teams
- Liaise with brokers, clients, and Operations on documentation and vessel availability
- Produce commercial reports and spreadsheets
- Support contract administration and pricing analysis
- Grow into managing spot requirements and direct client interactions

- Strong communication and commercial awareness
- Proactive and flexible attitude
- Bid/tender or commercial experience (advantageous)
- Relevant degree preferred
- Offshore/marine background beneficial but not essential. Commitment to QHSE & Security required.
