Overview
An academic institution based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking to appoint a Chairperson – Hospitality Management to lead and further develop its hospitality academic division.
The role requires strategic leadership and frequent travel to Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Hospitality department’s academic and operational activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the institution’s vision and international standards.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations with academic institutions and industry leaders.
- Supervise curriculum development and ensure excellence in teaching, and student engagement.
- Mentor and support faculty members in academic and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality assurance requirements.
- Represent the institution at conferences, academic forums, and international events.
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the institution through innovation and industry engagement.
& Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in academic leadership and hospitality education.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to Switzerland.
