The CFO will lead financial strategy and operations, ensure accurate reporting and compliance, optimize capital allocation, and partner with the executive team to drive profitable growth and long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A): budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and business partnering to inform strategic decisions.
Oversee accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and audit activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and debt/capital structures.
Drive capital-raising activities (equity, debt) and investor relations; prepare materials for the board and investors.
Implement financial controls, compliance, tax strategy, and risk management frameworks.
Set pricing, margin analysis, and cost-management initiatives to improve profitability.
Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and metrics across finance and cross-functional teams.
Lead and mentor the finance team; build scalable processes and systems (ERP, accounting tools, reporting stack).
Support M&A, integrations, carve-outs, and strategic partnerships including due diligence and valuation.
Partner with leadership on compensation strategy, long-term incentives, and performance measurement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader with P&L influence; 8+ years in finance leadership preferred.
- Experience across financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and capital markets.
- Track record raising capital and managing investor/stakeholder relationships.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP/IFRS) and experience with audits and tax planning.
- Experience implementing financial systems (ERP, consolidation, BI/reporting tools).
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR450.00 - QAR550.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
