Mark Williams is partnering with a leading investment company in Abu Dhabi to appoint an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Our client is a highly respected and well-established investment group with a strong presence across the Middle East.
As the business continues to expand its portfolio and investment activities, they are seeking a hands-on CFO who can provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen governance, and support long-term value creation.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the CFO will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the group and its investments, ensuring robust financial management, operational excellence, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance function across the group's operating companies and investment portfolio.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee sophisticated financial models, forecasting processes, and cash flow projections.
- Drive financial strategy, capital allocation, and liquidity management to support business growth and investment objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Manage external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, advisors, banks, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present high-quality financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to shareholders, family members, and senior stakeholders.
- Support investment activities through financial due diligence, valuation analysis, transaction structuring, and post-investment monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive operational efficiencies across the finance function.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
