CFD - Engineer/Senior Engineer

Role and Location

CFD and FEA Analysis

• Perform FEA simulations and CFD analysis, including 3D CAD model generation, meshing, problem formulation, solving, post-processing, result analysis, reporting, and presentations.
• Analyze internal and external flow, heat transfer, and fluid-structure interaction applications.
• Use simulation findings to recommend and present product or process design improvements.
• Apply scientific principles related to magnitude, momentum, heat transfer, and related engineering phenomena.

Consulting and Product Support

• Assist Commercial and Marketing teams during order acquisition by demonstrating technical capabilities and traveling to potential client locations when necessary.
• Conduct applied research and technical assessments for product development and optimization.
• Consult with clients, assess objectives, and present simulation results.
• Prepare project proposals for technical leaders and clients.
• Promote products through seminars and technical publications.

Engineering Delivery

• Interpret CFD results and apply verification and validation principles to support design decisions.
• Collect data for simulation, analysis, improvements, and modifications.
• Develop and use simulation software tools and support CFD tool development.
• Define test cases to validate component designs against requirements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot plant or process problems.
• Schedule and coordinate work within deadlines and financial budgets.

Experience and Education

• The role is open to freshers through four years of experience.
• Requires B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a Ph.D.
• Relevant industrial areas include energy, manufacturing, industrial or production, automotive, aerospace, machinery, analysis, and consulting engineering.

Software and Technical Skills

• Software knowledge includes OpenFOAM, ANSYS, CAD, and Linux.
• Requires knowledge of structural mechanics, design principles, product design, and finite element analysis.
• Requires knowledge of fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, process calculation, and thermodynamics.
• Requires familiarity with model idealization, mesh generation, solver setup, and post-processing.
• Requires good written and oral communication skills.

Languages

• Requires fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹20,000–₹40,000 per month.
