CES - Waste Processing Tech I

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or in accordance with vendor specifications
• General housekeeping. Sweeping, washing and other maintenance of the area(s) Reworld is responsible for
• Preventative Maintenance paperwork for equipment
• Loading/Unloading of van trailers and/or flat beds
• Managing collection points within our facility

• Interact with plant personnel to determine needs of the local areas
• Requirements:
• · High School Diploma / GED preferred; Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED
• · 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving like environment
• · Forklift experience preferred
• · A Valid Driver's License is required
• · Able to pass respirator fit test
• · Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills
• · Demonstrate attention to detail and time management
• · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical Demands:
• · Must be able to operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools
• · Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• · Kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending, or twisting for extended periods of time
• · Walking and/or standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
• · Position requires working near and around operating mechanical parts and mobile equipment
