Qualifications

  • Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required
  • Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA required
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in a Hospital Setting preferred.
  • BLS required
  • COMPETENCIES: Surgical hand scrub Gowning and Gloving Setting up a sterile field Safe patient transfer
