Certified Nursing Assistant

Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL is looking for part and full-time CNAs!

CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) provide direct care to meet the total needs of residents.

• CNAs provide direct care of residents including but not limited to: Take vital signs: pulse, respiration, temperature Complete hygiene tasks (ex: bathing, toileting, hair care, nail care) Assist with dressing residents Provide comfort measures (ex: back rubs, application of heat & cold, turning & positioning of residents) Promptly respond to resident’s call lights Collect specimens except blood Provide rehabilitative and restorative measures Serve meal trays and feed residents Transport residents to various departments and activities

• CNAs assist in maintaining clean, safe, attractive environment for residents including.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff in order to provide information on residents, to maintain continuity of care, to provide care for all needs, and to maintain good public relations
• Participate in meetings and staff development programs relating to improvement of care, policies, procedures and equipment
• Assists with the training of new staff
• Other duties as assigned
