0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 (full time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
0-1 years of experience eligible for $1,250 (part-time)
1+ years of experience eligible for $2,500 (part-time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
*Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.*
Unit Bio
- The Departure Lounge CNA provides clinical oversight and patient‑centered dischargesupport for discharged patients, prioritizing comfort, dignity, and service excellence.
- Thisrole plays a key part in hospital throughput by facilitating safe, timely, and thoughtfuldischarge experiences for patients and their families.The Departure Lounge supports:
- Inpatient discharges
- Procedural discharges
- Emergency Department discharges
- This role is vital in ensuring a positive final impression of care for patients and their families.
Education
Participates in continuing education relative to role as defined.
License/Certifications:Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and be on the State of Maine Registry, having completed a six-week or equivalent course.
Experience
CNA experience 0-6 months.
On-the-job training provided.
