Location : Dubai/ India
This role is focused on winning port tenders, structuring joint ventures with global port operators, and leading concession strategy.
Financial capability is internal; the CEO must be a deal-maker and bid strategist.
Role Objective
- To lead, structure, and win DBFOT port concessions by:
- Building strong JV partnerships with port operators
- Leading RFQ/RFP bidding processes
- Positioning Megamont as a credible and competitive concessionaire
Mandatory Experience (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
1.
Tender & Concession Experience
- 15–25+ years in ports / maritime / infrastructure
- Direct involvement in port bids (RFQ & RFP stages)
- Must have personally led or co-led and WON at least 1–2 port concessions
- 2.
JV Structuring & Negotiation
- Proven experience in forming JVs with operators such as
- DP World, PSA International, APM Terminals, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone
- Hands-on experience in:
- Shareholding structure (target: 75% Megamont control)
• Shareholders’ Agreement (SHA)
- Board/control rights & reserved matters
- Must have negotiated JV terms directly (not just participated)
- 3.
Bid Strategy & Execution
- Strong expertise in:
- Technical proposal positioning
- Commercial bid strategy (revenue share / tariff / royalty)
- Ability to design a winning bid vs strong competitor
- 4.
Government & Authority Interface
- Experience dealing with:
- Port Authorities / Maritime Boards / Ministries
- Understanding of concession frameworks and evaluation criteria
Preferred Background
- Candidates currently or previously in roles such as:
- Head – Business Development / Concessions / Strategy
- CEO / COO (with proven bidding & JV experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead identification and evaluation of port DBFOT opportunities
- Structure JV with port operators while ensuring the Client's retains 75% control
- Lead complete bid lifecycle:
- Partnering
- Bid strategy
- Submission
- Negotiation
- Build relationships with:
- Government authorities
- Port operators
- EPC partners
