Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Centre Manager role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Centre Manager will oversee daily operations of the assigned center, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling team members, managing front-of-house activities, and monitoring facility standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
The role involves coordinating educational and recreational programs, events, and activities, while maintaining high customer service standards and promptly addressing guest feedback or concerns.
The Centre Manager will also support budgeting, revenue growth, and cost control, handle inventory and vendor coordination, and prepare regular operational reports for management.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement company initiatives, training staff, and reinforcing company policies and values are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in center, facility, or operations management within edutainment, hospitality, retail, or early learning environments.
- Strong people leadership skills, including team supervision, scheduling, performance feedback, and staff training.
- Customer service and guest relations skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Operational and organizational skills, including inventory oversight, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Basic financial understanding, such as supporting budgeting, tracking expenses, and contributing to revenue and cost optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods, as required by center operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Education, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working with children and families, and a genuine interest in education, entertainment, and child development.
- Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates and willingness to comply with local regulatory and safety requirements.
