CDL B Driver

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL B commercial vehicle on assigned routes
• Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and food safety standards
• Delivering food products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Load and unload trucks using hand trucks and equipment
• Place or stock products at customer sites when needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Pick up returns, credits, or refused product
• Communicate delivery or vehicle issues to management
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license required
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Basic math and recordkeeping skills
• Experience with customer service preferred
• Ability to use smartphone/logistics applications
• Experience with food or distribution environment is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Lift/push up to 65 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift
• Frequent entry/exit of truck (multiple times per route)
• Standing, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs throughout the day
• Ability to work in year-round weather conditions

Schedule

• Typically, 8-9 hour days.
• Start and end times vary based on production and delivery needs.
• Early morning shifts may begin as early as 3:00 AM.
• Some Saturdays and occasional Sundays are required.
